We did our first gig at the Ruby (Victoria Rd Rozelle) on Saturday night, 31st of May – and what a night we had! We had a fantastic turnout from our friends and supporters, creating a great party-like atmosphere! We in the band certainly had a good time, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves too – plenty of people up and dancing, and plenty more doing some serious toe-tapping from the comfort of their seats. The applause and cheering made us feel pretty special – and when the audience started singing along with some of the songs it was just perfect!
Clearly it was one of those lucky nights when everyone was in the mood for a good time! Speaking of luck, we were pleasantly surprised when a stretched Hummer (well a stretched something) pulled up outside and disgorged about 20 or more passengers, who then filed into the Ruby for dinner. Many of them came to see what all the noise was later, and joined in on the festivities!
So, a big THANK YOU to all of the people that came out to see us – I hope you had a good time and that we may see you again sometime soon!
